i can remember many of the British 24 hr le mans racing cars and f1 cars of old wore British racing green. the jaguar d types and the newer Bentley machine are a few that come to mind. it kinda like the Germans and their silver BMW and Mercedes machines.

Maybe its just bad carma - (misspelling intentional) to greenwash motorcars - doubt if it carries over to bikes : )
