The next morning, three of the six of us went home to Redlands while the other three rode over to Angeles Oaks, had breakfast and then rode back to Redlands.

Photos from The Bicycle Film Festival and SART
We left from Stell (in Redlands) at just after 7 a.m. Saturday and got back to Redlands at about 2 a.m. Sunday.
We did two events in two cities, met a bunch of cool people, did some scabby elbow rubbin', watched bike movies, talked and laughed a lot, and never touched a gas pedal.
Our 'mob'

On the SART...

...heading toward the ceremonies.

Arrival at the SART ceremonies
Jonathan gave the Golden Spoke Celebration Thank You poster to Steven Christiansen who presented a copy to both Riverside and San Bernardino thanking them for finishing the trail in time for Bike Month in May, which they did even though the official ceremonies did not happen until June 30th!

Afterwards we headed to Metrolink.

Boarding Metrolink: San Bernardino to LAUS

Riding...

Arrived in LAUS.
We went to Olivera for lunch and then to the BFF...!

The bike droves...

and the other bike droves...

and these droves as well.
Ran into old friend Todd Regalado of The Burrito Project and the film Hunger in the City.

Jonathan got Bill Savage (who'd surfed Trestles that AM) and a bunch of mountain biking godfathers to sign a "Save Trestles for the Whales" t-shirt. Jonathan plans to ride his mountain bike to Trestles and present the shirt to the Save Trestles folks.

Kelly and I volunteered time to LACBC to valet park bikes.

Tools of the trade
After our valet shift, we caught the last Metrolink to 'Berdoo and rode home to Redlands.
